ALBEMARLE SOUNDS. A TROPICAL STORM WATCH MEANS THAT TROPICAL STORM
CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA...IN THIS CASE...

OVER THE CAROLINAS. AT 200 AM EDT...0600 UTC...THE CENTER OF THE
BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM DANNY WAS
ESTIMATED NEAR LATITUDE 32.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 75.2 WEST OR ABOUT
190 MILES...300 KM...SOUTH OF CAPE HATTERAS NORTH CAROLINA AND
ABOUT 665 MILES...1075 KM...SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF NANTUCKET
MASSACHUSETTS.

DANNY HAS INCREASED ITS FORWARD SPEED AND IS NOW MOVING TOWARD THE
NORTH NEAR 17 MPH...28 KM/HR. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THIS MOTION IS
DUE TO THE ABSORPTION OF BY A FRONTAL LOW. A TURN TO THE NORTHEAST
