SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT ALEX IS WEAKENING AND RAPIDLY
BECOMING EXTRATROPICAL OVER COLD WATERS. THE CYCLONE IS MOVING
TOWARD THE EAST-NORTHEAST AT 40 KNOTS AND IS EXPECTED TO MERGE WITH
A LARGER EXTRATROPICAL CYCLONE TODAY. THIS WILL BE THE LAST
ADVISORY ON ALEX.
