KATRINA IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-SOUTHWEST NEAR 11 MPH. A TURN TOWARD THE WEST IS EXPECTED LATER THIS MORNING. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 70 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
