INITIAL INTENSITY HAS BEEN LOWERED TO 35 KNOTS AND THESE WINDS ARE CONFINED TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE CENTER MAINLY OVER WATER. TAMMY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST WITH A GRADUAL DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED. THE CYCLONE SHOULD DEGENERATE INTO A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN ABOUT 12 TO 24 HOURS.
