The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 7 mph (11
km/h). A turn to the northwest is expected on Friday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
The depression is moving into a very hostile environment, and is
forecast to weaken to a remnant low on Friday.
