At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Nine
was located near latitude 17.7 North, longitude 47.1 West. The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h)
and this motion is expected to continue for the next couple of
days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast, and the depression is expected to become a
remnant low tonight.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
