The depression is moving toward the northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h). A turn toward the west and then toward the west-southwest is forecast during the next day or so. Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.
