At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fiona was
located near latitude 17.1 North, longitude 41.8 West. Fiona is
moving toward the northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h). A northwestward
motion with an increase in forward speed is expected during the
next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some slight strengthening is possible overnight or early Friday,
followed by weakening late Friday and into the weekend.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
