DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Nadine was located near latitude 16.4 North, longitude 37.7 West. Nadine is moving toward the west-northwest near 15 mph (24 km/h). A motion toward the west at a similar forward speed is expected tonight through dissipation. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Nadine is expected to weaken to a remnant low by Saturday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
