Calm here in Pinellas County with some light rain as of 5 PM. Link to my personal weather station is in my signature. Anemometer is not ideally located (best I can do), so wind speed is probably less than actual due to nearby trees.

Had a 27.3 mph gust at 6:34 PM from the east. I had guessed 30 watching the trees before I checked my weather station data. It has been running 5 - 20 mph since. Trees block to the SE and S, so wind from other directions is close to accurate.

81(F), CLOUDY WITH LIGHT RAIN, WIND SSE 17G23(MPH)
24-HR PRECIPITATION: 0.02 INCHES
Light rain started falling shortly before this morning's observation. Hopeful that we will get at least an inch out of Elsa today, but doubtful given how the bands are breaking apart as they spiral across the peninsula to the east coast, followed by several days of good POP's to chip away at the deficit here in east-central Volusia. I planted a silver buttonwood in the front yard yesterday evening and the l from the surface down to 1' was powder dry.

Overall a very non-event. Had about 2.5 inches of rain, most of it of the moderate kind. It looked like the big band that trained up and down central Florida last night had a gap over me as it formed and edged to the east. Had some wind overnight but I don't even see any branches or limbs down in the yard.
