Everytime I look at Mitch, I enjoy its perfection untill I remember that it killed 20,000 people. Never the less, it is undeniable that it was, at its peak, a terrific sight from space. You dont see hurricanes like that that often. By the way, how did you post thumbnails? With my Charley pictorial, I could only post clickable url's.

cheers

posting URLs is what you're supposed to do. during high site traffic periods things get very bogged down if graphics-intensive pictures start popping up on people's posts. limited bandwidth means that people on dialup have little chance of getting on the site, and folks on cable have a laborous experience here. since it's january and slow i'll let this one go, but FYI don't ever do this on the main page, and make this the last you put here on the storm forum.

Are you refering to my thread, or this one?

just letting Luis know the rules (they apply to everyone). your thread had URLs, it was fine.

Mitch was my first Cat 5 storm i tracked, and i still remember waking up the morning the winds had gone over 155 and looking at that same sort of picture. That right there is not only a hurricane, but THE hurricane.
