I live on the westbank of new orleans right off of general de gaulle. I have not heard anything about the area. I live in forest Isle apartments and I cannot find any number or any news information to find out if I still have any stuff. Please if you know or a site or any number of information please let me know. Thankyou very much.

Sally..... I just heard on the news that people are allowed to go to Jefferson Parish. They say you can go in and look for any belongings, but, you can't stay there. You'll have to leave again. We pray that everything will be well with you. God Bless You Sweety!!! Please believe me when I tell you. . .. God WILL work this out for you!! He did for us. Prayers Work !!! Sending you a heartfelt hug.....><

We have a houes right off Gen Degaulle on River Oaks and it is in pretty good shape. Had a window blown out but no flooding. And my mother-in-law lost her carport to a tree but all in all it is in good shape. Just cant stay there because of the contamination.
