Question
      #54359 - Thu Sep 08 2005 10:52 PM

I am trying to understand this stuff. Ok if a tropical system is located 30N 75W how do I figure out where that is. Could some one direct me to info I could read so I can understand this better? Thanks :?:

Best way to do this is just to look on a map, such as the NHC or Skeetobite's track maps. Use the scales provided on the map to determine distance from a given landmark and you should be able to get a rough idea of where the system is in relation to a specific area.
