I have been through a catagory 3 hurricane and the destruction was not as bad as . Remove the problem that happened in New Orleans, there is nothing that can every compare to the destructiion there. How can we convey the necesity to evacuate coastal waters when a hurricane aproaches. Florida has an evacuation program that is workable, but even so, many people think that they can ride it out. So many people died in Mississippi because they did not understand the intensityof the storm surge. The Gulf coastline historically has experinced more intense hurricanes than Florida. They now understand the gravity of the situation. What happens next. The gulf coast is so vulnerable to storm surges.
