Tropical Weather Discussions (TWDs) thread
      #66979 - Wed Jun 14 2006 11:37 PM

Please post the discussion on the storm in the area of interest: easter carribean tropical wave topic.

Edit -- I've moved these over from the main board to the storm forum here, the more appropriate location for them. The thread started by Ed on the eastern Caribbean disturbance can be used for general discussion on that feature (and the one in the eastern Atlantic as well). Let's reserve this thread for discussing general features found in and questions about the NHC/TAFB Atlantic Tropical Weather Discussions (TWDs). Thanks!

I am actually replying to my own post. Has anyone actually read the latest discussion? What gibberish is this?

Haven't read one of these before?

Plenty of folks here that can help in deciphering the abbreviations and acronyms.

Anything in particular that you would like explained?

Bill

No thanks, I can read this stuff just fine....just their reporting on what is happening is completely out there somewhere.
Sorry you don't agree.

I wasn't sure what you meant, to someone not used to reading this stuff it can be gibberish. As far as what they are saying, I haven't had the time to analyze it in detail, but on a quick read through it nothing jumped out at me. Anything in particular you don't agree with?

Bill

Here is a view of all the activity. <Not focused on one particular storm:

We'll have to see the development of all this tommorow...
