GFS Model Prediction (doesnt look good)
      #68456 - Wed Jul 26 2006 06:46 PM

Earlier today the GFS model was saying on 8-11 that a Tropical System was gonna be east of Georgia and moving north east. now its saying that it will be over by Puerto Rico and moving toward Florida. If it stays like this for a few more days we should be back on alert with possible the 3rd Tropical System and possibly the 3rd US Landfalling System just a watch and see thing

Keep in mind that models are just that, models. If the same features continue to show up run after run then that may be something to keep an eye on. That is a way's away and I would think you will see changes from run to run...I am pretty certain about that.

that is exactly true such as any storm in the begining they say it will make landfall in Florida, and after time passes it becomes a fish storm or even never developed, such as the disturbance in Texas the models said it would develop but stay inland

if any 1 gotta a scared srry about that just getting a little excited over a little bit of nothing

Not implying that you are but don't confuse model data/runs with the NHC official forecast. Although model data is used in the forecasting process there is a lot more to it.

Seems to be some concern / debate as to the future of 99L so how about a break and a little fun...
