Tropical Wave Getting Stronger?!?!
      #68462 - Wed Jul 26 2006 07:55 PM

take a look at this the tropical wave at Lon 60 Lat 15 looks like its getting more thunderstorms and better organized. and also it looks to me that the Upper Level Low that has been preventing this storm to develope is moving to the North. Local Met. are saying it will be here in south florida by sunday night.

thats just what it looks like to me. it may look different to u and that is probably whats going on. we dont know till it happends. heres a link to the wave: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/flt/t2/loop-avn.html

P.S. i find it kind of strange that NHC storm floater number 2 is over the system??

I agree. The waves are finally showing some convection. I think the African dust is letting up some. Which is usual in July. As for the far east wave. Usually if there is no low level circulation it will head west. The wave could be a monster but if there is no LLC it most likely will stay west.

http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/gparm/xyrfpr.gif

thats a look at the latest chances for anything to develop. red means pretty good, and the purple not as good

looks like the tropical wave at 45W and 15 N as a 3 out of the chance maybe? before TD 2 (Beryl) developed it also had that chance.
