All evidence now supports the view that a reorganization is occi=urring jus off the north coast of cuba...looks like a much larger storm will emerge here

One says barely a storm and the other says it's reforming and will be a larger storm can I ask what evidence you have? just trying to learn and see how you came to that conclusion not saying it's wrong or right.

Barely a storm is in reference to the last wind report of 40 mph. Remember, at 38 mph it is downgraded to a tropical depression, no longer a storm. It is a "storm" in that it is a tropical cyclone, and it is a pain because with all the changes, it could do anything...miss the entire peninsula and head north, fall apart, head west and toward the gulf.....in the last 48 hours, US landfall has shifted from TX to Miami....and we still have plenty of ground/water to cover...its wait and see time..the good thing is everyone in the gulf and peninsula got their hurricane kit ready!

The 18 z models runs are shifting back to the west, with the and the UKMET (12z) taking the storm into the Gulf and heading up the west coast....it is safe to say that the models are having a tough time getting a grip on ..with the pressure up to over 1000 mb, and a weakening storm over Cuba...anything goes....until we get a new discussion from the , everything is guesswork..it does look like the high is holding and will force wnw..the question is how much of survives, and how long to redevelope....if at all
