Forgotten logins?
      #78338 - Wed Sep 12 2007 07:36 PM

Got another issue. Third time in two weeks this has happened:

I have recently logged in. After a short while (15-30 minutes) I go to post and it doesn't detect my login. I click "Login" and it doesn't send me to the login page but instead sends me to the root of the forum. Since the system thinks I am not logged in, I cannot log out, yet the system won't let me log in.

The only fix I have is to delete cookies for the site and log in again.

Not sure where the issue is, but I suspect it's going to be nasty session bug to track down. If you have a way to dump the session data, next time it happens I can try that and send you the data and see if you can track down what's getting corrupted in my session.

Note: I log in from two separate computers on the same IP. Hopefully that isn't part of the cause.
