Area of Interest - Invest 98L
      #94887 - Sun Oct 06 2013 11:01 PM

At 07/00Z, Invest 98L was located in the far eastern Atlantic at 9.5N 27.2W with winds of 20 knots and a pressure of 1008MB. Movement is to the west northwest at 16 knots and SSTs are at 29C. An area of westerly windshear to the west of the system should begin to decrease late Monday evening. Convective structure has been slowly improving on Sunday. Conditions should slowly become favorable for additional development as the Invest area moves to the west and west nothwest over the next few days.

Contrary to the expected upper air environment, southwesterly windshear has increased to the west of the Invest area and conditions for additional development are not as favorable for the next couple of days. The system has slowed considerably and is not as well organized as it was yesterday.
