The low in the north Atlantic is at 40% Thunder storms have continued all day, and a small CDO at times, at least worthy of name, I hope they name it, been going for a few days.

ask and you shall receive, just as the convection disappears, should pop up again before becoming extra tropical.

Based on all available conventional and microwave imagery, plus earlier scat passes, it wouldn't really surprise to see Chantal's birth get moved up a little earlier in the day during the post-season reanalysis. One of those systems you really wish we had nonstop drone flights zigzagging across the oceans during hurricane season.
