Pablo Lounge
      #100774 - Fri Oct 25 2019 11:08 AM

A vigorous formerly non-tropical low centered a few hundred miles southwest of the Azores has been acquiring tropical characteristics today, and as tropical storm-force winds are already occurring, only a small increase in additional organization would result in the formation of a named tropical storm at any time. As such, we are now starting a lounge on this developing low pressure system.

NHC advisories may soon begin. Interests in and near the Azores islands may want to monitor this system closely.

Invest 98L has become Tropical Storm Pablo and the title has been updated accordingly. - Ciel

Invest 98L is now Pablo per ATCF, set at a possibly conservative 40 knots, and with a structure very similar to Vince (2005) and other relatively rare late-season North Atlantic TCs.
