I'm impressed by the IR Cloud Top satellite pic at this time. Notice the prominent definition to the west.

Despite being all the way down in Cape Coral the tide is running 1 foot above normal.

We are getting that typical long feeder band of the long comma shaped tail in east central Florida. I got 1.39 inches so far and it's still raining. I got a rain rate of 3.9//hr about 3 hours ago. I would say this is typical for a post tropical system landing where it did compared to east central Florida. I expected this.
