Today I was observing the sky and saw massive growing cumblomibus clouds, I have never seen anything like it. One passed over our house produced some rain but nothing much. This tropical air mass is extermely un-stable, in the approach of Gaston's remmants. These clouds have very defined features, this looks very dangerous.

I just got back from walking my dog...it is as humid and oppressive today as it has been all summer. I think we're going to be in for some bigtime boomers late today through tomorrow morning. Temp. is 86 degrees, but it feels more like 95...I'd say our dew points are in the upper 70s right now.
Looks like Hermine will miss the east end of LI, but Gaston's gonna give us a pretty good run for his francs.

Did you see the radar image of Gaston it's so well intact and it's leaving land. I just watched the weather channel and they said that some strenghtening could occur when Gaston remmants enters the water again. Lets hope for the best.

Ah, another member of the middle name club! Clark's actually my middle name as well.
Nice array of thunderstorms here in Tallahassee today -- after a dry week, I mention the "tennis" word and weather breaks out! It's all in advance of the trough that's supposed to pick up , but mostly just normal summer stuff.
