Like I said previously, this is most likely a wobble to the north as it had seemingly wobbled south of due west just a few frames earlier. Should be watched, but right now I would not read too much into it, I.E. somehow suddenly making a sharp turn and avoiding Florida. I'm sorry to say, but that is highly doubtful at this point in time.

Its a wobble to the wnw and a general wnw pattern will happen in 6-12hrs right near the coast. But this will continue again for another 6-12 hrs across the state on a wnw course. Again it wont turn NW till Sunday morning or afternoon.

I am concerned too because it could come on shore more north and come right up the coast like they were saying in the beginning.

Winds will be stronger inland this time because one the storm is stronger and two it will move faster to inland places.

I just got back from my sisters house. Dropped my truck off and picked up the dad-accessible car. The winds were pushing both vehicles around a bit. I must have missed the squall unless that was it. Checking thru one more time, packing and heading out for the fun...Stay safe man!

Thanks.
BTW if anyone is looking for a laugh (maybe), I sent Mike something I found yesterday on "You might be a Floridian if...". He posted it to the comedy forum under that heading. Some of it is painfully true.

Looks to be a tad more than a wobble...definitely in an . I am now more than a tad concerned this will complete before landfall, and become a CAT IV.
Sure looked like it made a right turn over Abaco...
This is your captain speaking, place all tray tables up and put your seat in an upright position...make sure your seatbelts are securely fastened...

This is an excellent discusion on the models, more in depth than some Musher is a good writer.
He discusses the situation with Jeanne in pretty good detail.

When you look at the long range Melborne radar loop it looks like the jog to the north was just a bump. Thought?
