Well, after a long break from any activity in the W. Pacific, it looks as though a system is forming. A Tropical Cyclone Formation Alert has been issued for 91W, and it sure does look well organised.

Well, it has since grown into Tropical Storm Nesat, and it is expected to become a major typhoon over the next few days. What is more, it is the only active system around, so it's something interesting to watch.
