Jim missed a few last year, like Hurricane and Southwest Florida. But in all Jim's done pretty good. I'm much much to squemish to put out a list like this, so I hand it to him. He's got a lot more statistics at his side than I would. Even for an amature.

It kind of makes me my skin crawl when you say that Jims done a pretty good job in the past, especially when he puts my coast line #4 on the his list. And if thats the case and hes right, being located on the central east coast, anyplace north or south of us which would include just about the whole east coast of Florida would be a #4 too seeing as the uncertainty of any one storms path. I just can`t see how someone can say where a storms going to go this far out. I`m treating this hurricane season as if my area is #1 on the list for sure by being ready and prepared for the worst and if it doesn`t happen then lucky me and my coast. We`re all in the same boat here in Florida. Time will tell, I hope we are spared, and my prayers will be with those who are not........Weatherchef

Weatherchef,
I couldn't agree with you more. Daytona is just north of Melbourne....any where on the east coast could be a target and I am already getting my hurricane supplies together. I too pray we are spared

That's why I don't like to make picks like that. Especially considering #4 would also eat up even more along the coastline in New Smyrna near our place than last year.
But even Jim admits he's wrong a lot, and I hope he is as well. It's not a scientific pick by any means. But it means everyone along the coast that could be affected by the hurricanes should be watching.

I do that basically just as a heads up based on 134 years of climatology. The last 2 years I have picked 4 out of my top5 that got hit. I really do hope Central Fla does not get hit, they dont need it.. Thanks for the feedback...
