quick question

ok i am a new user here and i am stationed at Fort Polk....i was not here when Rita and Katrina hit due to a deployment and i was wondering if you think that there will be another devasting storm hitting the gulf coast this year so i know on how prepared to get my family....thank you :?: :?:

There will always be another storm whether it is this year or next or whatever... You and your family should always be prepared,,,i.e. hurricane kit, evacuation plan and whatever you might need or want to board up your house if necessary.

Ditto. Prepare for EVERY storm. The storm you don't prepare for is most likely the one that will hit you.
