Questions about local areas, people, for Ernesto
      #72293 - Tue Aug 29 2006 07:35 AM

Have a question about a certain facility or person in an area affected by Ernesto? This is the place to ask.

Have just had a situation come up. My husband will be flying into Tampa International Airport arriving tonight at 9:15. What are the chances the flight will be delayed? Currently no delay is showing. I would be driving from Sebring to Tampa and back probably arriving home just before midnight. Bad idea? Just trying to work this out. Thanks.

My father and a friend are on vacation, primarily staying in Boca Raton. Will the hurricane affect that area more than just with rainy weather and higher waves?

Hatteras/OBX [Re: MikeC]

Not much happening here about 10mi N of Cape Hatteras. It appears that of all spots on the SE coast, Hatteras may ride this one out with a minimal scraping. I am surprised no watches have yet been issued given how long it takes to roust the tourists out of here, but there has been no activity in the stores, and WX conditions are superb.
