I know it's tough moderating this board especially when there is a storm as tough as Ernie spinning in the Carib - - I just wonder if we could reduce the friction if all posters had to be registered before posting in the forums. Just a thought. Thanks for all that you all do.
Chuck

I agree with Wingman51 about being tough to be a mod on this site...with any storm approaching the U.S. Tensions get high, people get anxious, and it is a site such as this that helps people be prepared for a storm and perhaps help dinimish some of the fear and anxiety that comes with these types of events.

I read the info on this site because I can get a feeling of what a storm may do by reading a variety of different, well-researched opinions and by looking at all the professional info that is on this site or linked to this site. Being informed and prepared is what will help keep my family safe.

Personal attacks and comments don't provide information about the current storm and are, truthfully, a distraction. There are other avenues to vent your differences than on this weather site.

All the mods and mets on this site do an excellent job at helping us stay informed! Great job, folks!

Thank you for understanding. Our Mods do this on their time and on a volunteer basis only. They/We can not make everyone happy and we try our best to respect the views of others at the same time keep the content informative and useful.
Thank You
