The satellite views of 94L (which is only a 1004 mb system) currently show a VERY broad area of influence, all the way from Louisiana to Venezuela, from Baja to Puerto Rico. (see attachment)

I enjoy reviewing the various forecast models, and in association with "saluki's" previous post regarding the CMC, can the "experts" take a stab at explaining which forecast models tend to be more reliable for the large variety of ever evolving systems/situations?
