Don't know anywhere to find historical images.

For live images (for those interested):
- NWS radar sites: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ridge/ - The NWS websites only give you certain limited data from the raw radar returns.

Yes, they are ALL available! "All RIDGE radar images are downloadable and all that is needed is the URL."

But! To get to them is a bit complicated and requires a bit of computer savy.

Check out the following link and read it very carefully:

Downloading RIDGE Radar Images

For *older* images, you will need to *carefully* follow Step 3, "Download the individual files" (In your case, steps 1 and 2 do not apply.)

You will need to "plug in" the date and time you're interested in, and your all-important "Radar Site ID" and the type of radar image desired, 'Base Reflectivity', etc.

Hope this puts you on the right trail. If you need help, let me know & we'll puzzle it out together. Aloha!

This might be late in coming, but the National Climatic Data Center has an archive of all radar images from each of the U.S. Doppler radars back to the date each radar came on-line.

Search through here -- http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/radar/radardata.html -- to find what you're looking for. It's a fairly straightforward process. You'll need a program like GRLevel2/GRLevel3 to view the files, though I think NCDC now also offers a Java-based tool that you can use freely as well.
