I've been watching another wave approaching the West African coastline, getting ready to emerge over the Atlantic. It's still a little ways off, but this particular wave has been exhibiting moderate to strong convection, is rather large in structre, and appears to have good signs of cyclonic turning already evident.
Depending on conditions when it exits the coast, if it still holds together by then, I think we could have our next Tropical Depression by the end of next week. What do you guys say or predict?

The wave is now emerging from the African Coastline, and still appears to be holding together pretty well. The Appox center as of 18:00 UTC on the East Atl Flot appears to be at 9N and 14W.

Said wave as of 6:00 UTC August 2nd update was centered at about 11N 20W, and looks to be holding convection together quite well with continued cyclonic turning. If convection persists at this rate, I wouldn't be too suprised to see this wave tagged as an invest.
