Ida Conditions in Your Area
      #87267 - Sun Nov 08 2009 05:56 PM

Here is the place to update how conditions are in your area related to the weather and Ida.

Here in Orlando next to Universal Studios, its off and on drizzle with about 18MPH winds from the East. The winds aren't directly related to Ida, but the general pressure gradient.

Since nobody else is doing it. Just walked across campus after school, just south of Plant City and about 20 miles east of Tampa. Felt like it was in the upper 70s/low 80s with a VERY brisk south/southeast wind. Had a few spits of rain from the rapidly moving stratus clouds. Feels like it really WANTS to rain, but it hasn't made up its mind yet. We need some.

Light rain in Pinellas County and wind is under 20 mph. Not much to be concerned about.

The "feeder" band on the east side has begun to move more easterly as indicated on Tampa Bay long range radar. Could be a wet and windy night here.
