Invest 93L - Southwest of Cape Verde Islands
      #88712 - Fri Aug 06 2010 12:11 AM

A tropical wave with associated low pressure was located about 750 miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands at 06/00Z near 12.7N 35.8W. As the wave moves to the west northwest, conditions are expected to improve and allow the system - designated as Invest 93L - to have an opportunity for additional slow development.

Not much organization there, but there appears to be some cyclonic rotation centered near 14N; 34W. If it can detach from the ITCZ, it may spin up over the next couple of days. It is embedded in a large area of moisture as seen on the WV pics.

93L is becoming more defined this afternoon, but still not really organized yet. I would think that the NHC will be upping their development percentage soon. It appears to be moving northwestward, so may be a fish spinner in the end.
