Disturbance Gabrielle Still Active
      #94774 - Mon Sep 09 2013 06:22 PM

Ex-Gabrielle is flaring up again with strong convection east of the center which is roughly located at 27N 66W and is moving to the north. The overall organization of the system shows some improvement.

Gabrielle and Bermuda [Re: Ed Dunham]
      #94777 - Tue Sep 10 2013 09:22 AM

Gabrielle is back on the NHC map and storm warnings are up for the island of Bermuda. After Bermuda there is a strong chance she can make another landfall on Prince Edward Island in the Canadian Maritimes.

A strong, constant show of convection all day yesterday and last night was confirmed by an ASCAT pass and advisories were reissued.

Best she has looked in a long time. And, convection continues to blow up as she heads towards Bermuda.

Tracking two storms today and a third possibly forming in the GOM.

This makes the second storm this year that reformed. Dorian reformed earlier in a similar fashion.

An interesting season if not an intense one with reference to lack of hurricanes. Still tropics active.
