18z October 11th GFS:

Last several runs have stayed with the theme of a strong system (Epsilon?) ejecting NNE from the Caribbean to just off Florida's east coast.

Stronger (930 mb south of Cuba), slower and more west (Florida Straits or even SE BOMEX)

Its pointless to pinpoint this far out, but given the GFS consistency in calling for a significant hurricane eventually tracking north out of the Caribbean Sea in our general direction during the last week of October, I will be vigilantly monitoring each model run in the coming days.

still passing Fla east coast offshore (though closer and sooner than previous run). Wx channel and several of the local TV mets starting to cautiously mention now.
