Gabrielle a marginal tropical cyclone tonight, but still forecast to strengthen over the coming days. Bermuda should still keep an eye on it.

CFHC on Mastodon?
      #114982 - Wed Jul 24 2024 12:35 PM

Since X/Twitter is no longer a public-facing service for access to @CFHC, but a walled garden, does anyone who makes storm updates or live-tracks use the fediverse service, Mastodon? Searching reveals there are only a handful of accounts on the microblogging platform dedicated to tropical cyclones: (in no particular order)
1) NHC (bot)—http://@nhc_bot@m.ai6yr.org
2) Zoom Earth—https://mapstodon.space/@zoom_earth
3) The Eyewall—https://mastodon.social/@theeyewallwx

Thanks!
