Front Page Changes

Although we are working on an entire new layout, one thing was bothering me about the current page, and since the season is starting to heat up, Imade the change.

The popup advisories now work with Gecko based browsers, and IE (so if you use Safari, Firefox, Mozilla 5, etc it will work as intended) I use Firefox for a browser now, and the old pop up display method didn't work with it, so I changed it a bit.

I also added a bit of a preview for the new system I'm working on. The advisory pages http://flhurricane.com/cyclone/wxstatement.php
consists of weather statements across a database. IIf you use the URL without anything you will get the Tropical weather outlook. If you see the URL it generates, you can alter the l and t tags to get different types of statements and for differing locations. You can view any date (Data goes back a month or so now, and is partial for certain regions).

This is just a test of the new system that will go up as part of the new page layout (Which is still a bit off). I have provided links to view histories of Area Forecast Discussions on the front page as a test of this system. Feel free to play with it.

We are tracking a bug where if you post something logged in, it *may* not appear to you (but everyone else can see it). If this happens usually logging out and logging back in will fix it. We know about it, and some other logoff/on quirks. Working on them now.
