I was speaking merely of a long period swell hitting the panhandle not a cane. Never ever wish a storm like that was in its height on anyone
with the wind direction and fetch etc from the expected path of Izzy the panhandle would receive this swell much better than the west coast of FL which would receive it parallel to its coast.
Mitch was such an intense storm that a BIG swell made it all the way up through the Yucitan channel to the beaches of Pensacola.
