well 11 is out and not much change, irene still a TS headed northwest, and TD#10 headed northwest, defintaley not du west, that may change but as of now headed northwest, and that little cluster of clouds southeast of future Jose(??) is looking like it has a strong convection, maybe this will become a TD#11, but i dont think it will be any time int he immediate future meaning 2-3 days. We have enough to watch for now, dont you all think..and its not even peak hurricane season yet, almost, but not yet

This could be a looonnngg season

if you take a look at NOGAPS, they have TD#10 becoming Jose and maybe even cat 1 hurricane by 114 hours, and then at 126 hours there are some pop up evidence of a cat. 2 storm.

Is it just a glitch on my computer - or is there something up with the site? When I look at the map for TD 10 in the margin of this page I get a map of Emily.

I just watched our local news and our met said there is a system in the Caribbean and no development at this time but in four days or so if it gets into the Gulf it might develop. Can anyone elaborate on that?
And what is that little blob to the southeast of TD10?

The wave at 70W is what our met is talking about.
