Thermonuclear device to destroy hurricanes
      #78611 - Wed Sep 19 2007 11:08 AM

Hello All,

Always wondered about this. What will a Thermonuclear device do to a hurricane if detonated in it's eye?

Thanks in advance.

No one would be able to physically get close enough to know. The satellites that are ordinarily in the survelliance mode would have to be moved out of the region. Thermonuclear devices detonated to disrupt hurricanes is like using a hammer to break saltine crackers. Its a bit of an overkill and you might end up with a lot less than you bargained for in the first place.
