taking cover at home during a hurricane
      Fri Sep 03 2004 01:15 AM

Hello I have two sisters in florida, they know pretty much about how to prepare. But what I would like to know, where is the safest place in your home to protect yourself from any wind damage? One sister lives in a house, and one in a condo that is on the second story. Are closets safe,or I have heard about taking a mattress in a tub or shower stall to cover yourself. I appreciate your feedback. As I am so worried about my sisters and my nieces, and my brother in law.
