Site Update

Ok, we placed the donation link at the top. It will remain until we've seen enough to cover the new equipment I just bought today. (Some loaded poweredge servers))

Thanks for the donations folks, if you don't want to be listed in the coming "Thanks" page let me know. (I'll only list first name and last initial anyway)

We went down during Frances, (and previously floyd) when it was the worst time to do so. Thankfully there are other weather sites, such as the NHC (Which I check before I check this site), hurricane city, hurricane alley, storm 2k and others that could fill the gap. I want flhurricane to be a site that I want to check to get info and some commentary. It's not trying to be the "best site", it's just trying to specialize in Atlantic Hurricanes and what I like to do. Links to other sites are more than welcome, and even encouraged. The more the better.

We'll improve things here and the response to the donations so far has really energized me to finish a lot of the projects that I've been working on. Inclduing the new layout and new maps.

Thanks to those like Larry and Shawn W for helping control some of the downtime.
