Phil, I'm afraid that part of the U.S. is going to get hit hard by a strong hurricane, then another part (mid atlantic?) is going to get flooded due to a slow-moving, decaying tropical system, with tornadoes, which seems to be happening every week anymore. With the high rainfall amounts over the east the last several weeks, it doesn't take nearly as much wind to blow trees over. This is why they say never to focus on just the eye, the storm isn't a point.
