So far no news as to the local EOC being activiated, although there is now an inland hurricane wind warning in effect. And as of now Polk County Schools are scheduled to be open for business Monday.
Either the local officials are taking their time waiting until the last minute or they apparantly are not expecting much from Jeanne.
