Just signed up and checking in from Margate - Broward County FL, about 12 miles NW of downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
Steady light rain and breezy all morning, had a decent squall push thru around 10AM, since then not much, but the breeze is increasing.
Too bad Katrina will likely come ashore at night, I'd love to take some pictures of the eye. If the forecast is correct it will be right over my house! I've been thru alot of storms but this one has all the makings of a direct hit so hopefully it will stay as a weak Cat1
