I'm originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, the home of anthracite coal (thus my moniker CoalCracker), and wanted to let you know that the town of Duryea in NE PA has adopted Collins, MS as a sister city. They've been in touch with the mayor of Collins and will raise money through local donations and a a block party to be held on 23 October in Duryea. Mayor of Collins will be attending the block party. I've emailed the mayor of Carbondale, my hometown in PA, and asked that the city of Carbondale join Duryea in adopting a MS town. My prayers are with you and your family.
