Active wave just off the northeast Mexican coast with indications of a mid-level circulation near 22.5N 96.5W at 15/15Z with little movement. Upper level winds are expected to become marginally favorable (slight decrease in wind shear) with a small chance for some additional development on Monday. Initial motion should be to the north northeast to northeast.

Expect periods of rain squalls along the Texas and Louisiana coasts. Windshear increases significantly just north of the northern Gulf coastline, so significant development seems unlikely at this time, however, its something to monitor for the next couple of days.
