heat wave

worth noting when your closest weather station ties its all-time high. bush field reg. airport at augusta got to 108 today, which it has only ever touched once before. knew it might be close to getting there on the ride home... car thermometer is usually within a couple degrees of the real temp when moving, and it read 107-110 on the way home today. it's been 100 or greater every day here since sunday. tomorrow is forecast to get into the upper 90s.
other parts of the state--greenville-spartanburg international got to 105 which is it's new all-time high. columbia metro got to 107, which ties it's all-time high. the state record is 111--have to wonder if any of the co-op stations will offer a challenge.
this is the hottest weather i've ever experienced.
